At The Country Trader- what inspires me

Recently I visited one of my favourite shops, The Country Trader, with the philosophy "anything is possible" in mind. The Country Trader specialises in new and antique furniture and furnishings from the provincial to the opulent, from architecture to interior design and restyling to restoration.

This place is always full of the most amazing objects that the team has found around the world. When I was there, they had just unpacked the latest shipment from France. I could have spent hours walking around and just stay observing the scene from the upper floor, watching designers taking clients around the shop, antique dealers perusing and anybody else who loves being in presence of so many gorgeous objects.

You can find just about anything your heart desires: an Italian armoire circa 1790, a French fabric display mannequin c irca1950, silverplated hotelware, handblown glass domes and even mounted nautilus shells.
